Cooler weather is here!
Sep. 8th, 2007 01:09 pmTemperatures are in the high 80s (Fahrenheit) and there's a breeze. I felt the pleasantness when I went to get my oil changed this morning. It was such a relief, I rolled the window down and didn't run the air conditioner.
All my outside errands are run for the day. Now I have to clean house and accomplish my goals for the weekend. I suppose I could post them here to give me incentive. After all, I don't want my dear friends to think I'm a lazy bum. The aspect of announcing goals to make them more real has always appealed to me. It's a lot easier to let things slide when you're the only one who expected it to get done. Therefore, voila:
1. Rug Doctor the downstairs carpet.
2. Swiffer downstairs bathroom floor.
3. Swiffer kitchen floor.
4. Find old vampire script to give to Pete (if not hard copy, electronic version).
5. Contact Mary to hook her up with Pete for animating her Roach Chronicles.
6. Teach class.
7. Ask Velvet if she'll have a look at my book to see if I'm omitting anything important.
8. Transcribe all my longhand to the computer.
9. Finish Chapters 3 and 4, convert to pdf and copy to flash drive to print at work Monday.
10. Read others' work from writers' group for Monday.
