Feline notes

The cats don't mind long car rides. They object when it's the ten-minute trip to the vet culminating in have a thermometer shoved up their asses. So they meow and cry for that long and calm down afterward. Last night we fogged the house for fleas. With Global Warming, we'll probably have to do this a couple of times each summer from now on since the heat makes fleas more active. After sundown, we put the cats in their carriers, strapped them in the car and drove to the bar in the neighborhood. They meowed until the car was parked for a while and they didn't get whisked out to have the aforementioned thermometer crammed in their keisters. After the requisite three hours, they again meowed until we got home and they were let our of their carriers. The house is much nicer today for all mammals without those awful fleas pestering us.
