First week of 2011 off to a productive start.

There is a completed Frankensystem in the living room awaiting a nice couple on hubby's dart team to adopt it. It's only a 1100Mhz CPU but it runs Ubuntu fine and dandy.

Laundry is done. Needs to be put away. A crockpot full of beans is cooking. I've checked into the three job websites I've signed up with. Recycling got taken to the plant yesterday. The foyer is empty awaiting another pile to accumulate.

I got the car fixed Friday. It cost a huge chunk of change, but at least it runs well now and the money I spent is far less than a monthly car note. I had to dip into savings which bothers me a little considering I've only got another three months of work left. Between severance and unemployment, I should be OK at least until next fall.

The company has hired another company to help tweak resumes and provide tips for interviewing as well as their company aggregates job listings. As the economy improves, I feel confident that I'll find another job. I hope the Republicans don't find a way to ratfuck it too soon.

And I'm sick to death of the right-wing fucksticks and their hateful rhetoric which has led to more killing, now in Arizona. I'm posting my opprobrium for that horseshit on Facebook where a greater number of people will see it. Feel free to have a look.

The only thing as bad are the left-wing fucksticks ;) At least, they don't quite spew the hate by putting cross-hairs on pictures of their opponents. I have to constantly remind myself that The Bitch Palin is not a conservative, she is the Radical Right.

One crazy fuckstick pulled the trigger on Giffords. While a lot of hateful rhetoric may have given the crazy fuckstick something to fixate on, he may have been fixated on the Bible or the White Album as well. Palin and company have said/done a lot of stupid shite, but they didn't kill anyone.

Many US politicians have gone extremely close to the line of "incitement to murder" on many occasions.
- While G.W.Bush was in the White House this applied to some Democrats, at the moment it's some members of the Tea Party and Republicans like Palin.

In some cases, they've really gone way over the line - look at comments made by sitting US politicians about Julian Assange.
