We have an appointment with a veterinary oncologist on Thursday to see if there is treatment to help Sonny feel better and stay with us a while longer. In the meantime, we feed him a little bit every two hours. He's bony, but not getting worse so far.

Date: 2011-08-20 05:18 pm (UTC)German wikipedia tells me that a combination of Vincristin, Cyclophosphamid and Prednisolon" will be tolerated well by the animal and a remission rate of 80% can be achieved - IF the tumor is not situated inside the vertebral canal.
Older cats tend to get an intestinal version. Hope this is the case for him, as well.
