Two things

First thing: What kind of mindset justifies sending innocent people to their deaths despite overwhelming evidence that the accused were wrongly convicted? Do they fear being wrong the most? Do they think people will mistrust the criminal justice process and institutions? Seriously? How could anybody with a brain mistrust an institution more than when it upholds a miscarriage of justice to save face?

Second thing: I'm writing an email to several stores. I was forced to contribute to the trade imbalance today because out of all the products I browsed in separate stores, I could not find a single item of the type I needed that was not made in China. I did manage to find a different item that was made in the USA, but that was it. One thing. Despicable.

I've gotten all my window estimates. Now I need to check with the condo board and make a decision. It's no wonder people don't do this stuff very often. It's a pain in the ass to run around and get estimates. Although you're comparing apples to apples, they're all different varieties, such as golden delicious, granny smith, winesap, red delicious, and I've run out of ones I know. I'm making it even harder because I'm trying to keep my money in the community and not give it to some big box store.

Further complicating the situation is that I'm taking a writing class once a week starting next Tuesday until mid-December. The instructor comes so highly recommended, I couldn't pass up the chance. He was supposed to have a class last spring, but that got canceled because he had other commitments. If I'm lucky, that will springboard my next novel toward completion at a faster rate than the last one got done.

When anything interesting happens, I'll post pictures.
