The susan_club is the place to be if your name is any variation of Susan. That will be the first community I've ever moderated so feel free to give me pointers when necessary.

That means you need to click over there and become a member. You and saminz are the reasons I started that community. That and I wanted to see who else might come out of the woodwork.
The Tick was a wonderfully comic TV cartoon based on an even zanier comic book series.
That particular dialog in the episode Tick vs The Uncommon Cold was just so silly that it stuck with me. Every time I hear the name "Susan" I remember it.
And I of course applied. Wonder what will come of it? What does define us as Susans - besides talking a lot, as you so cleverly pointed out judging by us three :-)? To any quiet and shy Susan that happens to drop by: Please make yourself heard, ok?
You posted, but you haven't joined the community. Click on the community info link and then click the join button. Too bad your auntie isn't also a geek; she'd probably get a kick out of it too.
Well - too bad she's dead, first of all :-). I would probably have bought her a laptop and pestered her into joning years ago! And I am pretty sure she would have, too. And yes, that's what happens when you click that button: You get a message saying: Your application has been noted, and the powers that be will decide on it, or something of the sort ;-).

My cousin is a J. Susan, and I know a lot of people in the Pagan community named Susan (we have a running joke that there is a statistically excessive number of "Susans" and "Davids" in the local Pagan community). And of course, there's Susan Ivanova, XO of Babylon 5...
You say "crazy" like it's a bad thing. The naked woman in the Quarter must've been before my time. I moved here in 1991 so all I know about some local characters is what I've heard. Is running naked in the street any crazier than Ruthie the Duck Lady or Holy Moses at a Saints game?
