The tub is in and usable. The walls are up and floated. They need to be sanded and painted. The floor had to be filled in and leveled yesterday. It's just gotten dry as of this morning. The tile can be done at some point today, either before or after the sanding. The toilet needs to be installed. The vanity and sink needs to be installed. The place we bought that can't do it until mid-week.

The cats are stir crazy from being cooped up in one room. I'm tired of the chaos and dirt.

It's going to look amazing when it's done, though.

I too was tired of the chaos and dirt. Just having strangers in my house made me a little nuts. It's good to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes, we've had the use of that for a few days. It makes the process bearable in the interim.

Oh, excellent. Only a few days of patience, then, and you - and kitties - will be able to relax and enjoy. Well, I don't suppose the cats will appreciate the new decor, though. :-)

Yay for progress. This seems to be moving along apace, considering the bulk of the work is done "after hours". I don't remember how long it took for our last bathroom renovation - maybe a week? 10 days? But we had a crew in here working solid 8-hour days. Gutted the room, moved some plumbing and heating pipes, and replaced drain pipes (the reason we had to redo the bathroom in the first place was the failure of the drainage pipes, so we couldn't use the shower once we discovered the leak until it was all fixed).
