Prestidigitation!

With the play over, I'm able to do my writing class reading and homework. I'm glad we rehearsed so many times. The other two actors were professionals and cute as hell. The woman who wrote it asked me if I'd caught the acting bug from the experience. I have to say no. It's nerve-wracking. There's too much pressure to not let everyone else down. Though there wasn't much blocking, remembering all the lines, of which I had the fewest, and where to be on stage takes a lot of skill, skill that I don't possess.

Today is catch up tasks day. Laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and prepping the laundry island for repainting. If I get all that done, I'll paint one coat tonight; if not, I'll do it tomorrow. Every time I look at my calendar for this month, I freak out. It's got fewer gaps than a hillbilly's smile. I want a lazy November, but I doubt if I get it. They'll install the windows sometime, then I'll have to paint, at least the rooms that aren't getting completely remodeled. I still need to figure out where the kitchen is coming from and get that ordered. Oh well, at least I've got stuff to look forward to.
