The ceremony was wonderful if I do say so myself since I wrote it. We had traffic backed up on Magazine Street several times as we socialized outside. Coolest recognizable dead person costumes: Amelia Erhard, Sharon Tate (with a knife), Elizabeth Montgomery (as Samantha), Agnes Moorehead (as Endora) and Ernest Hemingway. Sieldan and P.Buttercup looked stunning. She had a Renaissance dress on and he was decked out in vampire drag sans fangs.

As usual, there was too much food and strangely too much alcohol. I've got quite a bit of left over booze in my pantry.

Everyone had a wonderful time and many photos were taken. As soon as my friends dump their digital files my way, I'll post them here. Lots of pictures were taken with film so we have to wait until those are developed.

And now, I'm going to go sit in front of the TV and relax for a while before I finish cleaning the kitchen.

I'll drink to that for sure

Great good fortune to you and him, and blessed be. (ya, that's a good toast)Do you know, Susan? as I said today at UF, we're all _so_ damned pleased and happy for you. Thou art our friend and doest _deserve_ this happiness. Cheers!

Have you been wearing Stilettos all day?

Heroic indeed, if that's the case :-). Can't wait to see pics, of course. That must have been the coolest party of the decade, or something!

No. I was wearing shoes with a bit of a heel though because the dress was so long I was afraid I'd trip over it and fall on my ass or face if I didn't.
