I've gone all around the neighborhood. Nothing. I've driven around looking to see if there were any dead Siamese on the streets. Nothing. Damnit! I'm going to keep looking and if he doesn't turn up by midafternoon, I'll make some "Lost Cat" signs and tack them up on nearby telephone poles.

EDIT1.0: I didn't wait. I've got more flyers printing now. I've already covered one block.

EDIT2.0: Got all the blocks on this side of the street from the Walgreens to the Sav-A-Center.

Hope you find the kitty soon. Perhaps one of your neighbors took him in. Best of luck finding him.

Good plan.

Try your local newspaper and radio/tv station, if you have one?

Again - I'll keep a little finger crossed for your Cain.

Good luck. I hope he's waiting for you on your porch by the time you get back from putting up the posters.

He wasn't. He's not very bright, which may be some form of kitty Alzheimer's (do they get anything similar to that?) or it may be that he's a purebred and they're generally not bred for brains.

I really hope he finds his way back to you. Our cat gets out sometimes (she's a complete indoor cat for her entire life) and usually is cowering in the shrubbery surrounding the house.

The ferrets OTOH, if they are outside, will head IMMEDIATELY for the door to try to get inside. They don't like the outside at all.

I'd say number two there.

Then again, even some alley moggies win no brain power prizes.

Mimi was not too bad, but my sister's cats are really dumb. It took Clyde 8 months to realise they had moved. Every time he got out he went back to their old flat and mewed pitifully until an ex neighbour called my sister or her hubby to pick him up. Now, please realise that Bonnie and Clyde are not house cats and supposedly quite used to navigating around. Of course it didn't help that my sister didn't move very far from her old flat, but still, most cats would have figured out sooner. Or so you would think.

I'm still ritualistically invoking my deity of choice for a favourable outcome.

*hugs*

Had one wander off during the coldest winter in Houston. Came back four days later... no explanation or anything. Pfft cats.

Hope your kitty finds his way home soon.

Poor Cain...

Ask at a shelter? Maybe someone has brought him in?

All the best, once again...

Oh!

Sending big hugs your way. Home all is well and Cain is alright. If nothing else, I am certain he will have one hell of a story to tell when he finally wanders home!

Still no news?

I had a couple of phone calls, but they led nowhere. I've been checking the local shelter every other day. I'm hoping someone took him in and will see the flyers eventually. I'm also going to make up some more and offer a reward.

Thanks for the update.
Seems likely he has been taken in, then...
More good luck to you!
