I'm thinking about changing jobs.

This place is totally deranged. The drama alone is enough to make it unattractive. I've got an interview set up next week with some people I used to work with a while back. They're not without issues, but I'm familiar with their issues. The increasing drama here doesn't look like it will abate ever.

In other news, I talked to Vel on the phone last night. It was so good to hear her voice. She's being good and not running apeshit amuck cleaning. I might try running over there for a half an hour sometime in the next few days just for a hug.

Busy weekend ahead. Saturday, I'm going to help David, one of the guys in my writers' group, learn how to use his computer. Then hubby, my friend Joseph and possibly Pete and I are going to go see "Clerks II" (again for us and the first time for them). Sunday, I have a Daily Kos meetup to get a Drinking Liberally chapter started here in town. We're meeting at the Columns on St. Charles Avenue. Should be fun. Sometime amid all that activity, I have to transcribe all my handwritten work for my novel so that I can take Chapter 4 to the group Monday night.

I didn't think you'd be able to make it to the first meeting. As soon as you get your drinking establishment(s) open, they would be excellent places to meet regularly. Gotta support liberal bar owners. I'm going to suggest that Sunday. We should never spend money with right wing nutjobs if at all humanly possible.
