More of this crazy crap.
I got a version of the essay in the link.
And a reply I got was:

SNOPES is your friend: http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/paradox.asp
Dr. Bob Moorehead wrote "The Paradox". And I wouldn't believe the part about Carlin's wife dying without corroboration either.
Despite that fact, what the hell would be the big deal about the "source" if it HAD been written by George Carlin. These days, the only ones who speak the truth seem to be comedians. While the cable and network news shows shovel endless tons of bullshit about Paris, Britney and the corpse of Anna Nicole, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Bill Maher remind us that there's a war going on and the government is using the Constitution as toilet paper.
What's truly shameful is that it's the job of journalists to make the important interesting and not to make the interesting important the way they do now. Stop craving the salacious, reveling in the celebrity and fearing the truth. What you don't know CAN hurt you. The truth shall set you free as it imprisons those who profit by its concealment.

And a reply I got was:
Susan....years before the internet I said...there is a limit to man's intelligence, but ignorance has no bounds....the internet has proven this is spades. Now we have wide spread ignorance at the touch of the "forward" button. Scary isn't it. I agree about the trash on TV...we are raising a crop of Neanderthals, which reminds me of another saying of mine...we are only two generations from the stoneage.
