Have you seen the four-hour special on Sundance (or some other channel I can't remember) with Kevin Smith answering questions from about half a dozen college audiences? You will laugh yourself to hysterics. He's gotta be one of the wittiest directors on the planet.

I forgot about dogma it's hilarious. It's one of the ones I need to get on DVD along with things like Last Samauri. What is the Hunger and Clerks about?

"Clerks" is Kevin Smith's first film. It's about a guy who is a clerk at a convenience store and introduces the characters of Jay and Silent Bob. It's cheaply made, shot in black and white, but it's hilarious.

"The Hunger" is a vampire film starring Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon. Directed by Tony Scott, the film is a moody translation of the book of the same name by Whitley Strieber. Very beautifully photographed and well acted.

1: several hundred, at least, although many are recorded off the TV, and 90% of them suck.

2:Last movie I bought would have probably been Beyond Reanimator. It was one of four crappy movies I got at $4 each.

3: Last film I watched would probably be House of Flying Daggers, unless you count the Firefly series DVDs

4: Five films that mean a lot to me: What does this mean? They have sentimental value? They're exceptionally well done? They cover some subject I find dear to my heart? Too many definitions. Let's say the LOTR series, there's 3, or 1. Hero. Young Frankenstein. Field of Dreams. Millenium Actress. Godzilla. Dreams. Metropolis. Duck Soup. Hellraiser. Dracula.

There. You figure out why they're special to me. :P

The original "Godzilla" and "Metropolis"? Which version of "Dracula"?

Yep. The originals are the only way to go. Well, ok, Godzilla is usually good, although I don't include that new version. That were ucky. Any of the rubber suited Godzilla movies, either the original with Perry Mason :P or any of the 'vs' ones.

Dracula, with Gary Oldman as Dracula. That rocked.

Some of the old Hammer films were lots of fun, and if I'd thought about it, I'd have included any of those, as well. Cushing, Lee and Karloff were Gods.
