Baby birds in the nest in the tree.
Jun. 1st, 2008 11:30 amOriginal post from two weeks ago: Check dove's nest in palm tree for hatchlings on or before this date in the future.
There are two tiny birdies in the tree outside my office window. Hubby reported that one had hatched Friday morning before I went to work. The other one hatched sometime within 24 hours of the first one. I couldn't verify that there were two birdies even though there had been two eggs because the mama dove had been hiding them underneath her. According to Wikipedia, the will be fledglings in another two weeks. This should be interesting to watch.
I tried to get pictures, but my camera doesn't produce good quality results through a tinted glass pane and a screen.
