Oh bloody hell! Monte the thief decided early this past week that he was going to relinquish the museum. We had arranged to be all hands on deck this morning, go up to Walker and get it. Yesterday, Monte decided he needed another week to have his attorney check the lawsuit paperwork to make sure it was legal. Translation for those of you who don't know this assclown: he's stalling for time to see if he can either replace the missing pieces with fakes or get back the ones he gave away or sold. We shall see if the thing ends up in safety next weekend. Stay tuned for another exciting episode of "As the Wheel Turns".

I've taken the recycling off to the drop point. We're supposed to go to his mother's this evening to watch the Saints' preseason game. Other than that, the weekend is free.

Since I have nearly the whole weekend, I'm going to slam out as much writing as I can. I have two chapters ready to go to the Monday writers' group. I just have to print copies. I'm close to the halfway point in the story. If I'm diligent, I'll get at least another chapter ready for the Monday after Labor Day since we don't meet on holidays.
