Buckland Museum update, etc.

nolawitch58The museum, or what there is of it, is in responsible custody. Monte turned it over last weekend. The storm prevented an inventory, but that will be done as soon as practical. Pieces that are not accounted for will be featured here until they turn up and are brought back to the collection.
This week has sucked hind tit on a badger. I am tired. We got through it, though. The company wised up after Katrina and has a decent facility for not if, but when we have to evacuate for storms. I can't praise the facility enough. The restrooms are nice. The coffee is always available during working hours. There is a spacious break room with an ice maker, fridge, TV and sink. The vending machines have primo snacks and Coca-cola products.
Even as pleasant as our stay was, I'm glad to be going home tomorrow. I've got much of my gear stacked over by the door of the hotel room. In the morning, we're packing up and hauling ass back down to New Orleans. Geaux Saints!
