Thank the deities! Cat update edition.
Nov. 3rd, 2008 09:35 pmWhile driving home from my writers' group, I saw a black cat two houses down where the beagle lives. I stopped and saw him dart toward the house next door as I got out of the car. Rather than leave the car in the middle of the street, I parked and walked over there. "Oh, Sonny!" I cried. "Meow," he replied. It's him.
He's in the neighbor's yard and under their house. They are an elderly couple and their yard is full of junk. It's like Disneyland for cats. He is obviously having a pretty good time. Wait until the weather gets cold. Then he'll appreciate the rug, couch, blanket, mattress and pillow he used to sleep on.
I know where he is. All I need is a way to get his furry ass to come home.
