The Bush Regime is nearly over. My dear husband pointed me to that particular website. Please click that link and read the enumeration of the outgoing administration's high crimes and misdemeanors. If you agree with his assessment, post the link in your own journal. Let's never forget the consequences of our lack of vigilance against the American flavor of fascism that nearly ruined our country beyond repair.

Bush was a bad president and should pay for his illegal abuse of power and for the crimes (torture, lying to Congress, war crimes), but comparing him to Hitler and other truly murderous and evil dictators is too much. It destroys the credibility of that writer and hurts the Progressive movement. To me, there's no difference between Ann Coulter's ridiculous lies ("Liberals are all traitors!") and this writer's equally ridiculous analogies.

Except, they couldn't be trusted to make even license plates.
