Busy weekend winding down
Mar. 7th, 2010 06:49 pmWorked yesterday. Got lots of stuff done. I'm not complaining; others have more crushing workloads.
voxwoman takes the prize for having her nose to the grindstone.
The inside of the car is clean. I'll scrounge some quarters together and wash the outside next weekend. I've started a checklist so that we don't forget anything on vacation next week. My buddy Pete loaned me a laptop to keep up with emails and LiveJournal and maybe Facebook. I need a laptop. That's my next big purchase in the upcoming months.
The rewrite is going well. There isn't much wrong with the first four chapters. They're going back through the Realms of Fiction group anyway because there are new people who hadn't seen them previously. I've got my Peauxdunque Writers Alliance group meeting on Friday. Pete may come over next Saturday to help me install new versions of Linux on both working computers in the house. I think I'm going to try Fedora. That's what's on the laptop and it doesn't seem too much different from Mandriva.
Sunday, we'll be going to the mother-in-law's for
hmc_lavadogs's birthday. The following week is only Monday. Tuesday we hit the road toward the Kennedy Space Center. Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Date: 2010-03-08 04:03 am (UTC)Also an interesting choice on choosing Fedora, in fact yesterday a couple of people who was at yesterdays meeting both have been working or very quickly acquainting themselves with Fedora as they will be using it for work.
Take care
