Dodged a migraine bullet somehow.

Just before leaving work, I got the awful aura thingie in my visual cortex. It always starts small and then expands until it messes with reading and such. It was whipping around like a dragon as I got onto the elevator. Once the elevator started to descend, the damned thing disappeared. So far, I haven't gotten the nausea or severe headache. Total score! Now I'm trying to figure out how I accomplished it. Just to be safe, the house is quiet without many lights on. Hubby is playing darts tonight and I'm declaring the house to be a cave.

Maybe it was a change in air pressure caused by the descent? I'm just guessing.

Believe it or not: I get the "visual aura thingie" frequently and it never even remotely connects to pain. Never saw both together, actually. Pain and thingie, now.

Mine never whips around, though. Must be even more "interesting" ;-D.

I got the visual migraines fairly often for a time, then they pretty much went away. I get an infrequent "flash" like one is starting, but it doesn't go anywhere. I only got the pain once, but once was enough.

Mine didn't thrash either. They started as a small, curved, flashing zigzag line, which would slowly expand until it moved out of my field of vision.

That's what mine usually do. They're small and then they grow larger and spiral out to hugeness.

That is odd, and something that does affect me sometimes. Energy is one thing I have learned will play tricks on you due to the aura fields of the things we come in contact with in coming and going. Just glad it all ended ok in the end.ttyl.
