Unbelievable! I'm posting an update.
Oct. 10th, 2010 01:39 pmIn my defense, I've been hellishly busy. Except for my trip mid-September up to Shreveport, I've been working six days a week. It's a lot harder to do that when you're middle-aged. If all I've been doing is working, there isn't much to report that doesn't involve hectic routine.
Ah, but it IS October, and that's the busiest time of year for Wiccans. We hosted Chris Penzcak, the author, last night. A good time was had by all, and his talk on the cauldron and the crone was insightful and enlightening. I admit to being biased in favor of the crone, but his depth of knowledge is well worth the listen and will be elaborated upon in his upcoming book.
There are small quiches in my fridge that I made for the party that I will be consuming for the next several days. I have never been to a Pagan gathering that didn't have more food than it could handle. We loves to eat, we do.
I'm glad tomorrow is Columbus Day because that means I get a two-day weekend to rest my weary bones and get my writing caught up.
