Weeellll ......

I can't help thinking that nobody really *forces* anyone to buy flimsy, colourful, unsustainable clothing without pockets ;-).

Of course, that all makes sense. But then again, think of that market: Teenagers, namely. Or other "girly" females that don't want to spend much on clothes, but definitely need new stuff every two weeks, if only to show off to their peers. It simply won't pay to manufacture their things with much care and thoughts about practicality :-p.

(What's wrong with buying men's jeans?! They basically look the same, have five pockets and will last a lot longer.)

Women's jeans have pockets, but I can't wear jeans to work, except on Casual Fridays. Women's business attire is the worst in the pocket aspect.

Okay, now THAT's stupid... Here, the ladies can buy blazer suits with just as many pockets as the males have, if a bit smaller, maybe. Not with the skirt versions, though.

I sort of forgot that you're having yourself a fancy career, now ;-)!

My wife says she thinks these designers expect you to keep things like money and house keys between your boobies.

Not quite seeing how that works to be honest - it sounds rather uncomfortable compared to pocketses.

Kinda true. I keep some stuff that doesn't have sharp edges there.
