Today makes three weeks in to the renovation

We're down to painting and finish work. I need to schedule the carpet installation. That will take at least another two weeks. We should be in pretty good shape by the end of June.

I hope so because I've offered to host the monthly writers' group meeting in July.

There is an AMAZING amount of space in the kitchen cabinets. As soon as they finish painting and installing the tile backsplash, I'll start bringing kitchen stuff in from the PODs. I'm glad I didn't have them take it away. It's fine sitting out there in the parking space.

The patio really isn't that big. It's only about four feet wide. The chimney is in the middle of it and the air conditioner compressor takes up a bit of the space. There's not much left. I've contemplated growing herbs out there, but I have a black thumb.

i did remember it was small. What I didn't remember was the AC, though. No use, then :-).

(We are enjoying one of these rare "heat waves", with temps over 30°. Makes me wake up, start to clean, buy new clothes and other miracles. Also, missing a balcony or patio or something...)

Nothing like getting finished and hitting the ground running. With your schedule just doing it must have been a challenge. I'm sure it looks great or will with all that new carpet. ;]

Hey, sorry for the OT comment, but are you still moderating CF_resources? I posted a comment a few months ago and it is still not showing up. I can see it, and it's in my comment history, so I know it went through, but it says it's still in review. I'm not too worried about my own comment but I'm concerned that the CF_resources community as a whole may be receiving recommendation posts that are not going through. Thanks.

Yes, I checked that today, and there are no entries awaiting moderation there. Please resubmit. I usually get notifications when there are entries. That one may have slipped between the cracks. Thanks for the heads-up.
