You broke the primary rule of the board, that being don't make it a worse place.

You deliberately and with malice aforethought went after NOLAWitch and did what you could to inflame people there. That they responded in anger does not make them rule-breakers so much as proof that "trolling" still works.

If you were to get banned for what you did there it would merely show that Illiad is finally doing what he's said he would do when people act nasty. But that didn't happen, as usual.

I'd call you black, but you're no kettle. You're nothing like me. Almost every time I got disabled for "being nasty", it was a bullshit excuse for disabling (especially the final one). In each case I was responding to someone else's nastiness right there on the board. In each case I was trying to make the board a better place by exposing a problem and trying to make the person improve.

What I saw yesterday gave me flashbacks to the events leading up to me getting disabled in 2002. Its bad enough when people pull shit like that. Its even worse when they do it and you are not even around to know about it. I'm happy to see that only 3 folks seemed to be in on that prank. My fear was that it would be like many insults on the board that get lobbed and then get out of hand as other folks join in and don't even know why.

I was proud of you for taking the high road. As for stefordtwit (since she has now given us permission to use that name), her behavior is what I come to expect from Mormon wives. I've yet to meet one that impressed me. It doesn't bode well for a religion that is trying hard to convert non mormons.

Sweethart then decided to make an LJ using stepfordtwit as a name and posted about it on UF. Then she and wtfunkymonkey began making incredibly catty comments about NOLAwitch on UF. I can only see any of this from work at this point, and my time online is extremely limited. If I was on yesterday when this bullshit was going on, I'd likely have gotten myself banned from UF.

I suppose I'm just an innocent websurfer and have no clue to all the behind-the-scenes conversations that occur. Until today. I'd say you can vent to me, but I won't see it, since I'm leaving work and my 'net connection in about 20 minutes.

Assuming that you won't be back posting on UF in the considerable future I have created an LJ account so's I can at least keep in touch without straining your inbox.

I'm supposed to say something positive here but to be honest there's not much point is there? We have both known for a long while that UF has been polluted by vapid idiots who are allowed to freely spout gobshite, secure in the knowledge that to call them on it will result in them squealing about personal attacks and namecalling. UF had decayed into a kindergarten playground with the kids who scream "not fair" loudest ruling it.

I hope you get a satisfactory response from Illiad, however I suspect that will not be the case. The man appears to be afraid of his own shadow and seems to me to have no strength of character; If appeasing you means upsetting x fuckwit ufies then the majority will win, no matter how much their stupidity offends the rest of the world.
