That's all my family really let me do when I was a kid. When the womenfolk shuffled off to the kitchen, I had permanent peeling and cleanup duty. No mixing, stirring or seasoning for little Susie; she didn't have any domestic skills and would never find a man to marry her. I'm here to tell you that nothing I have ever concocted in the kitchen has ever killed anyone. The last thing I got food poisoning from several months ago was cooked by someone else. If you've got peeling and chopping to be done, I'm your girl.

Thanks to one of my UFie LJ friends (maybe TWC, maybe OGW), I found a moron with a scary icon who used to be called "neven". He changed his nick to "advoir", and I have been debating a small issue of his hypocrisy.

He and his idiot wife got upset, so they started calling me "Christoper Trottier" and saying they forgive me. Oh, it's too rich.

I'm still learning GIMP so my skillz are not what others' skillz might be. Right now, I'm cleaning the cat box and burning 1996 financial records. I finally got my 2004 financial stuff archived. Corpsman was complaining about the piles of paper in the office earlier until I explained that several of the piles were going to disappear in a puff of smoke later. The paper shredder that my friend gave to me is only good for one or two sheets occasionally. A ream's worth of paper needs to be torched.

Yeah, I knew it was upside down from our perspective, but the South Park character generator didn't have one that was rightside up. If you're going to jazz up my athame, I'll leave the file where it is on Bellator's server and you let me know when it's been jazzed. Thanks! I KNOW it will turn out lovely. It took me a while - and a bit of reading on witchcraft and satanism to understand that short comment. I guess you meant athame? And the pentagram is satanist instead of wiccan, right? I also think it should be in a circle, but I'll leave Nola to contend with the Gimp at her own pace...

I think alot of wiccans have pentagrams in circles though not all non wiccan witches do. They can go in or out of a circle. But for satanists the pentagram is down to resemble a baphomet. I'm actually curious what the heck is written on a baphomet in hebrew. I can't read it but see it has stuff written on it. I can sort of read some latin on the christian stuff though. And yea that's the name for the knife. Wiccans have highly decorated ceremonial knives on average. Not all witches have fancy knives though. I've known some to use pocket knives.

I've been thinking it might be fun to use bryce in combo with a south park picture to make something funky. Between 2d and 3d. But I have a dual boot system and have the software to do that. :)

Oh and Nick fixed her pentagram for her in a clicky in his post. :)

These obviously aren't your images, but they have more layers and are more complex. It will give you an idea of how I did things.

One of my most complex, if you notice I kept playing with the hair/hat combo because I couldn't find one I really liked. End product for the curious. And for anybody who wants it, my source material. Notice the layers and whats hidden behind each one, and how easy it is to switch hats/hair bye turning the visibility of each layer off and on. (6.07 MB)

One of my more recent ones, first one I ever did shading in, this was for a Fark Photoshop contest. The objective was to put video game characters into real life situations. I wasn't totally happy with this since they didn't have legs, as you can see under the tractor, and I needed to defringe the tractor better, also I had a hard time finding really good source images. You will find that when I flipped the tractor brand name I accidentally pasted it to the wrong layer, but that's fine it worked. End result for the curious, and of course my source material for those who want it. (9.89 MB)

Hopefully some examples of actual Gimp files will give you an idea of how I worked things. I learned to picture edit on the Super Nintendo with Mario Paint so I only recently figured out layers. I love them. Some of my older images, even though I Gimped them were static. The moment I added an element it became permanent. What if computer books were romance novels from Fark.com was done that way, as was my other entry for the same contest requested by the author. All my old photoschlock entries from UserFriendly were done this way, unfortunately I cannot recover them since they were on the heisted equipment and backup disk. (there is a server that automaticaly backs up most Fark images which saved those for me) If anyone has any of my old Photoschlock entries saves please send them to me. I would love to have them back.
