Despite one of our systems having a nervous breakdown and nearly taking a few of us with it, we had a Jazz Funeral lunch for another system that was retired last week. Food and fellowship make up for frustration and frenzy. May I say that I absolutely DETEST glitches that cannot be replicated. Those are the most dangerous kind. I think that server may be on the brink of croaking. I guess we're fortunate that we have to replace the hardware for the upcoming new release of software.
It's weird, but I don't know where the time goes. Today is Thursday and the weekend starts tomorrow evening. Last weekend flew by. I taught my First Degree class and then went over to Vel's to watch the Second Degree class. We have some outstanding students. As I watched, I remembered how some of them were completely amazing in my previous First Degree classes. They are no less amazing now. I have been so fortunate to hook up with all these great people. There isn't a one of them I wouldn't donate a kidney to if he or she needed it.
The Super Bowl had the best possible outcome. Fuck the Bears and fuck the goaste class assholes in Chicago who were obnoxious to Saints fans the week before last. If my beloved Saints couldn't win, at least the Colts could beat the shit out of the Bears. You know that nasty shit had to piss Peyton off since he's a New Orleanian. I'm glad he put those fucking Yankees in their place.
More witch stuff this weekend. We'll be initiating one of Trixie's students Saturday evening. Then there's the breakfast on Sunday. I've got to weasel some time to update the lessons for next week's class and try to get some writing done. I haven't taken anything to my writers' group for almost two months.

princess_luna is supposed to be in Louisiana during Mardi Gras, but I haven't heard anything from her. We could easily do parades over at lab_rattus' mother's place. I always seem to end up organizing things. Am I the glue that keeps some social circles together? That's a scary thought.
