I got myself a couple of tiny notebooks (probably 3" square) that fit very nicely in my purse. The binding is glued in, so the paper can be removed as easily as if it were a note pad. I originally got them for keeping track of spending, but I've also used them for note taking at meetings, jotting down ideas, and journaling in the hospital when I was sitting with my father. I think I picked them up at Staples when we were getting school stuff for the kid. A set of 3 was around a dollar. Just saying.

Since I don't carry a purse, I'd have to stash something in the car. I've got a buttload of pads. I got them for Samhain one year when we did an open divination. I thought it would be nice to have something for people to jot down the messages and impressions they got from the visitation with the Maiden/Mother/Crone. Only one other person besides me used one. Oh well. Recyled them to write meeting notes for the Goddess Conference and such.

I don't usually run around without my folder. Don't you love Staples? I get all the department's supplies from them. They rock. I admit my bias for the commercial they had a few years back with Alice taking a little girl school supply shopping.
