Progress:
Rid myself of twenty more pounds. (I'm down by ten so far. I don't weigh myself often, but yesterday after working out I did and found that fact.)
Totally pay off two debts. (One down, one more should be gone either in August or September. I'm projecting another one down by the end of the year. I hope my projections are correct.)
Organize all writing projects. (Done.)
Finish Chapter 15 of Ruxandra (I've got four more scenes to write. I should get it done this weekend.)
Update budget spreadsheet (I'm keeping the spreadsheet fairly well updated. The progress I've made on my debts has given me hope that by the end of next year, I'll be out from under the oppression and will be able to consider taking on a car note for a snazzy new hybrid.)

No progress:
Configure two complete computers for gifts. (Zip.)
Apply for grants for the museum. (No progress since last update. I still have all my materials. I need to assemble my form letters and mail merge database.)
Submit one of my vampire short stories everywhere until it gets published. (I've got lists of publications. I need to write a form letter and construct the mail merge database.)
Don't start any more writing projects until ones in progress are finished. (*insert maniacal and derisive laughter here*)
Paint the closets upstairs. (Nada.)

You go, girl!

I found that I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks when I finally decided to quit my job. It was amazing. (of course, I have close to 100 pounds to lose in total).

People don't realize how much stress weighs on you...literally and figuratively. I'm a lot happier now that my position has changed. That's part of my strategy for ditching excess pounds. If I'm not as stressed, I don't eat for comfort.

I find that stress tend to make me lose weight.

Which isn't a good thing either - I lost a stone during the final few visits to Le Grande Mosque (or Hell as it's otherwise known). Considering that I didn't have a stone to lose, this was very bad.

Going to take a long time to get the muscle mass back.
